Review: Essie Cocktail Bling

So my colour for this week is Essie's "Cocktail Bling", which is a delicate grey shade to go with London's gloomy weather.

"Cocktail Bling" is great for any occasion whether it be for a fun loving party or a lazy day at home, this shade will be sure to add an a edge to your look.

I've always been a fan of Essie as the consistency in their polishes are always great and rarely become gloopy or sticky.

Essie have changed the brush of their polishes and have made them slightly wider which makes it much easier when applying the lacquer to each nail.

Orly event!!!

Ello my lovelies!! Well I was a lucky lady last night to be invited to view the upcoming collections by Orly. Must be honest I have never tried the Orly brand myself but have always known and seen them dotted around town. So I was eager to go and see if this brand could sweep me off my feet, and I was surprisingly impressed. They had a range of collections to cater for different nail lovers, whether you’re a gel queen or an au natural kinda gal that likes a splash of colour on those fingers.
Launching their “Mash up” collection in time to catch the summer rays, this collection offers a mixture of glitter, neon, and girly pastel shades. Now I’m feeling the pastel vibe at the moment and loved the warm lilac/grey shade which was right up my street.

Out with the old in with the new, as Orly have just gone through a revamp and the new collection comes in a black rubber capped bottle, that has a nice grip to it. Which is a much smarter look compared to the rather dull packaging of their past collections.

Big Apple Red

Hello my beauts!! Now that the weather seems to be perking up its time to get the vibrant gloss on those finger tips. As I went to see the Lion King in the theatre over the weekend I thought it best to bring out my inner lioness with this beautiful OPI red nail lacquer. OPI is one of my favorite brands as I find the colour really does last. I’ve had this particular colour since last summer and the polish still feels brand new, not sticky at all and glides on the nails as easy as the first day I tried it.
