Review: YSL Rouge Volupté 3 Ultimate Beige

Hey Beauties!!,

I am currently in love with anything nude and have been very naughty as I have recently splashed out on an expensive nude colour lipstick. After rustling through all the beauty counters in London I decided on the YSL Rouge Volupté in "3-Ultimate Beige".

YSL Rouge Volupté 3 Ultimate Beige

When I first tried this lipstick I fell in love straight away, when applying it the lipstickis just glides on and coats the lips beautifully. I love that it is light but still has a rich creamy texture which is one of the requirements I have when it comes to finding the perfect lipsticks.

Ultimate Beige
I never used to use lipsticks in the past as my lips have a tendency to become dry quite quickly and therefore I was always a gloss girl. However I must say this particular lipstick is great as it keeps my lips moisturized whilst giving them a radiant nude colour.

Another winning factor for me was the gorgeous packaging, I've always been a fan of the packaging for YSL make-up. YSL's packaging just oozes glamour and chic which represents the quality of its products.
I know this is going to come across a little shallow but as much as I wanted the nude lipstick because it was a great product, I equally wanted it because the packaging was so beautiful and I would use any excuse to pull it out of my make-up bag to show it off.

Pretty Nude Lips

I give this Lipstick a 9/10 all round for the quality of the product and the beautiful appearance.

I would definitely repurchase this again, and I will also consider trying other shades. Do bear in mind that even though this lipstick is beautiful it does come at a hefty price of £24.50.

Until next time folks!!

OOTD: Interview Attire

Hey Dolls!!

So today I was oozing with excitement as I was lucky enough to land myself an interview for my dream job. I know you guys are probably curious to know who it's with but until I get the answer i'm looking I won't be able to disclose that info yet. (Update soon I promise)

Interview Outfit

I had prepared the night before the outfit I wanted to wear, the look I was going for was smart and chic and think I accomplished it.

I absolutely adore my new coat and had been eyeing it up for a while, it has a beautiful tweed body and soft supple leather sleeves. Originally it was £149.99 but I was lucky enough to purchase it in the Zara sale for £99 so this was definitely a winter bargain.
Smart &  Chic
Zara Shirt
My beautiful semi-sheer blouse is from Zara's TRF new collection and was a steal at £19.99. This is great whether you match with jeans for a more casual outfit or dress it up like I have done for a more formal event.

The skirt was one of my recent purchases and I bought it at H&M, I was shocked as it was only £12.99 but the quality feels amazing. It's quite thick for a pencil skirt with a little stretch making it so comfortable to wear, it has this beautiful zip detailing on each side which can then be hidden away when your shirt is tucked in.

Even though I have loads of shoes I was finding it difficult to find the right pair to compliment my outfit choice, in the end I went with my favourite ankle boots from Carvela which I purchased last year.

Coat: Zara
Blouse: Zara
Skirt: H&M
Magic Support Tights: Marks & Spencer
Shoes: Carvela

I kept my make-up very natural with a soft tinted moisturiser and a bit of bronzer to give my dull face some colour. I finished off the look with my new YSL nude lipstick which seems to be my new staple in my makeup bag.

Well beauties fingers crossed that I left a good impression today and I receive some good news soon.

Much Love,

The Perfect Prada Purse

Happy New Year Beauties!!

So I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and an even better New year, I bet some of you are still recovering eh?! LOL.

Well I must say I was a good girl all last year so no wonder Santa(my boyfriend) was good to me this Christmas as I received the most beautiful Prada purse.

Peony Pink
Beautiful Prada packaging
I've been looking for a purse and had a few in mind including this one, other than the fact it's so pretty and the colour just stands out it is actually very practical.
It's quite slim making it very lady like and not too bulky which some purse are but it also has ten card slots, two bill compartment where you can stash all your cash and 4 compartments where you can fit more cards, receipts or anything else. There are also two zip compartments which I love as most purses only have the one, One inside and the other on the outside of the purse so its easy to access your change when in a rush.

Zip compartment
The colour of my purse is Peony pink which is a beautiful fushia/hot pink colour its such a girly colour and what's even better as the colour is so bright it just stands out when trying to find it in my handbag. However if pink isn't your colour the purse comes in six other beautiful colours. I absolutely love the huge bow on the front of the purse adds to the cuteness of the wallet and also gives the purse a unique look.

Pretty Pink Bow
The purse is made of Saffiano leather which is used a lot in their handbag collection, I find it very hardwaring and easy to wipe down.
If you are looking for the perfect purse/wallet check out Prada collection as they have some great designs.

What did you guys get for Christmas?
